Accessibility Statement

We build software for a living, so it would be poor form if our own site were unusable. What we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

Commitment

NEXVRA aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across nexvraw.com. We treat accessibility as part of building software correctly, not a compliance exercise bolted on at the end.

What is implemented

  • Semantic structure — landmarks, one logical heading hierarchy per page, lists marked up as lists.
  • Keyboard operability — every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
  • Colour contrast — body and interface text meets or exceeds 4.5:1; large text meets 3:1. The green accent is used at sizes and weights that clear the threshold.
  • Text alternatives — meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms — every field has a persistent visible label, required fields are marked in text as well as colour, and errors are announced through a live region.
  • The estimator — built from native radio and checkbox inputs inside labels, so it is fully keyboard and screen-reader operable. Results update in a live region.
  • Reduced motion — all animation, scanlines, the blinking caret and scroll effects are disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Responsive and zoomable — content reflows to 320px and stays readable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • No colour-only meaning — nothing is communicated by colour alone.
  • Progressive enhancement — every page is readable and navigable with JavaScript disabled. Only the estimator requires it, and the contact form works without it.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than pretend otherwise:

  • Monospace type at small sizes. The terminal aesthetic uses monospace widely. It is set at comfortable sizes with generous line height, but monospace is marginally harder to read at length than a proportional face for some users.
  • Comparison tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens. The container is keyboard-scrollable, but tables remain a hard shape on small displays.
  • Web fonts load from Google Fonts. If blocked, the site falls back to your system monospace stack; spacing shifts slightly but nothing becomes unreadable.
  • Scanline overlay is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. It adds visual texture that some users may find busy — it is removed entirely under reduced-motion preferences.

We have not commissioned a formal third-party audit. We assess with automated tooling, manual keyboard testing, and screen reader testing on VoiceOver and NVDA.

Accessibility in what we build

Accessibility is part of standard delivery, not a line item you must request. Every engagement includes semantic markup, keyboard operability, contrast checking and screen reader testing of primary flows. Where a client's sector requires conformance with the ADA, Section 508 or the European Accessibility Act, we scope a formal audit and remediation programme explicitly and price it in the scope document.

Tell us what does not work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know. Email hello@nexvraw.com with subject "Accessibility" and tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.

We acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and aim to resolve confirmed issues within 15 business days. If a fix will take longer we will say why and offer another route to what you needed.

Formal complaints
